IBA - Activities of the Organisation

ANNUAL EXHIBITION

The association alongwith co-host ITC Hotel Maurya Sheraton & Towers holds an exhibition in the first week of April, where members exhibit their best specimens of Bonsai. This exhibition , which is one of the best in Asia, is visited by a large number of people.

LIBRARY

The Association has a very good collection of books and journals which are issued to the members. The Association also publishes a ‘Bonsai Bulletin’ for updating the latest information and techniques to the members.

ACTIVITIES

The association conducts regular demonstrations and workshops every month. Members are encouraged to bring their plants and discuss their problems and every possible assistance is given to them. Experts from related fields are invited to deliver talks, and Masters of International repute have been invited to demonstrate advance bonsai techniques.

INTERNATIONAL PARTICIPATION

Some of the members like Late Dr. Leila Dhanda, Mrs. Renu Vaish and Mrs. Alka Keshav Bakshi participated and their Bonsai photographs were selected at the JAL World Bonsai Contest. Our members have been attending and participating in international bonsai meets form time to time. over the years have also participated in international exhibitions and contests arround the world.
